Due to the nature of mobile speech therapy services, I am often working directly with children and may not be able to answer phone calls right away. After receiving your message, I will follow up as soon as possible and am happy to schedule a phone conversation if that is preferred.

Small Talk Therapies is a private pay practice. Payment is billed at the date of service via our secure online payment system. Acceptable payment methods include credit/debit card, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and Katie Beckett Waiver.
We are currently able to submit out-of-network claims for families with UnitedHealthcare (UHC) and BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS). For families with other insurance providers, we can provide a detailed superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance plan and out-of-network benefits.

Yes, an evaluation is required before beginning speech therapy to identify strengths, areas for growth, and appropriate therapy goals. If you child has had a recent speech-language evaluation completed by another qualified provider, we may be able to review and accept those results to develop a plan of care.

Direct therapy sessions are typically 60 minutes, which allows time to target multiple goals, provide meaningful practice, and provide caregiver communication and recommendations.

Yes! Parent coaching is available for families across Tennessee who want to support their child’s communication development, including families who are concerned about delays but haven’t received an evaluation or begun ongoing therapy yet.
